Writing
From being labelled “thick” to publishing bestselling books, my journey shows that dyslexia is a strength, not a barrier.
Why I write?
I write to share lessons learned along the way. For me, writing is personal — I spent much of my childhood unable to write, often being told I was “thick,” sometimes even by the teachers who were meant to help. Living with undiagnosed dyslexia made school almost impossible.
Publishing a book wasn’t just about business or ideas; it was about proving something to myself — and to anyone who has ever doubted a child with dyslexia. Writing has since become a way to reflect, connect, and help others see possibility in challenge.
Unsexy Business
My first book, Unsexy Business (2017), became a bestseller by revealing the real, unpolished side of entrepreneurship — where grit, resilience, and perseverance matter far more than glamour.
The Dyslexic Edge
With one in three entrepreneurs believed to be dyslexic, it aims to inspire and empower the next generation to see difference as an advantage, not a disadvantage.
