Hi, I’m Jamie Waller

I’ve been fortunate to build businesses, write books, and take on challenges that push me to grow — while giving back through the charities that once supported me.

My values

To live a life of energy, passion, and compassion.

Ventures

From starting my first business at 16 to leading ventures around the world today, I’ve always been driven by a passion for building meaningful companies that make a difference.

Adventures

Adventure keeps me growing. Whether it’s an expedition, CrossFit, or Jiu Jitsu, I’m drawn to challenges that build resilience and teach me something new about myself.

Giving

Having once been supported by The King’s Trust and the Imps, I’m now committed to giving back — empowering others through philanthropy and community projects

The pillars that define my work

From my first business at 16 to leading a global portfolio today, ventures have always been my way of staying curious — about people, ideas, and what’s possible.

Humble beginnings
Raised with love but limited means, I learned early on that determination — not privilege — shapes your future.
Lessons from the early grind
Starting my first business at 16 taught me that success is never instant. It’s built on persistence, failure, and the courage to keep going when things get tough.
Lifelong learning
Although I left school at 16, curiosity has taken me further than any qualification ever could. It’s led me to study at world-renowned institutions and to keep expanding my skills — proving that learning doesn’t end with childhood.

Adventure has been part of my life since childhood with the Imps Motorcycle Display Team. Today, I’m preparing for my biggest challenge yet — a journey from the North Pole to the South Pole under human power.

Early lessons in courage
Joining the Imps at five years old taught me resilience, teamwork, and fearlessness — lessons that shaped me far more than any classroom could.
Adventures that never fade
From sailing across the Atlantic to rafting the Nile, I’ve always been drawn to challenges that push me beyond the ordinary and remind me what I’m capable of.
The ultimate expedition
My greatest test yet — a human-powered journey from the Noth Pole to the South Pole — brings together everything I’ve learned about endurance, growth, and self-belief.

I was once a child of charity. Today, I give back through roles with the Imps, The King’s Trust, and my own foundation — supporting young people, championing community projects, and advocating for greater understanding of dyslexia.

A life changed by charity
The Imps Motorcycle Display Team gave me purpose, belonging, and belief. It showed me that opportunity, when given to those who need it most, can truly transform lives.
Giving back with gratitude
From The King’s Trust to the Jack Petchey Foundation, I’ve dedicated my time to helping the organisations that once helped me. Each role has been a chance to pay forward the support that shaped my own journey.
My Charity fun
Founded in 2025, my Charity fund empowers young people and strengthens communities through education, opportunity, and local projects. Its mission is simple — to create the kind of impact that once changed my life.

From Unsexy Business to The Dyslexic Edge, writing has become my way to reflect, share lessons, and inspire others to see possibility in thinking differently.

Turning struggles into stories
Living with undiagnosed dyslexia made writing impossible as a child — now, it’s my most powerful form of expression.
Unsexy Business
My first book reveals the real, unpolished side of entrepreneurship — where grit, perseverance, and resilience matter far more than glamour.
The Dyslexic Edge
My second book shines a light on the unique strengths of dyslexic thinkers, encouraging others to view difference as a source of power and creativity.
